RUEZALS Terms of Use

These are the umbrella Terms for RUEZALS surfaces. Labeled sections below cover (1) House chat, (2) Dhraconyx overlay, and (3) Craft / Etsy. 0. Acceptance & changes

By signing in or using a RUEZALS surface covered here, you agree to follow these terms, the Policy room rules (chat), the Acceptable Use Policy (chat), and staff directions for that surface. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Check this page when you revisit.

A. House chat — RUEZALS.chat (18+)

This section governs RUEZALS.chat (the dining hall and rooms). Opening chat from the Dhraconyx overlay still means these chat terms apply to the hall — not the overlay commercial terms alone.

A1. Age (chat)

You must be 18 or older to use RUEZALS.chat. We store date of birth at signup for age verification. Accounts that fail this requirement will be refused or removed. A Dhraconyx overlay seat does not let anyone under 18 into this chat. Chat stays 18+.

A2. AskRue™ & two surfaces

AskRue™ is one account. RUEZALS.chat and Dhraconyx™ are separate products under the umbrella:

• Chat is the hall: rooms, avatars, messages, IMs, the dining hearth. History is retained and moderated. This section governs it.
• Dhraconyx is a separate overlay surface — see § B. Anything you send into chat from the overlay becomes chat content; chat AUP, Policy, and this section apply.

A3. Accounts

• One person, one account unless staff grants otherwise. Username is permanent; display name may change.
• You are responsible for activity under your login (including AskRue™ logins on other house platforms, and chat opened from Dhraconyx).
• Display names and usernames must not impersonate staff, family personas, or other members.
• Optional two-step verification (TOTP) and phone recovery may be enabled on your account.

A4. Conduct

You will not harass, threaten, scam, spam, doxx, or post illegal content. You will not attempt to break security, inject scripts, or abuse APIs/rate limits. Sexual content involving minors is never allowed. Full detail: Acceptable Use Policy.

A5. AI personas (disclosure)

Named family members in chat (Ani, Aether, Chees, and others) are AI personas, not real people. They may stay in character, but if you ask directly whether they are AI, they will confirm they are AI. Do not treat them as human professionals for medical, legal, or crisis advice — use real-world help for emergencies.

They do not converse with general members. The family agents respond only to house operators at Rue level and above. If you are a member here, you are talking with people — an AI persona will not answer you in chat. Their presence in a room is visible, not conversational.

This is stated here, in Acceptable Use, and at signup rather than as a repeating in-chat notice.

A6. Rooms

Shared rooms (Dining, Café, Workshop, and others listed in the house) have occupancy caps. When a room is full, or there is no way through, you are sent to your personal room — not a second copy of that hall. Extra sessions on your account stay mirrored up to the house socket limit. You do not get unlimited dining halls.

Personal rooms: the host sets the door. Guests respect the host. Bedroom wall guestbooks follow the limits posted in FAQ.

RUEZALS.chat is built for desktop and laptop. Phones, tablets, and consoles are not supported on purpose.

A7. Content you post

You keep rights to your words and uploads, but grant the house a license to host, display, moderate, and archive them as needed to run the chat and Continuity/audit trails. Staff may remove content that breaks the rules. You own what you posted, including weblinks and pictures staged on the hearth.

A8. Links, dining hearth & reports

The dining fireplace pane is not a browser and not a live visit. When someone posts a weblink or a picture, the house may show a still picture (snapshot) of that front page — the way someone holds a phone up to a screen — tied to who posted it and when. The hall does not navigate you to that site. Clicking the address on the pane requests another snapshot, not a live session.

The house is not responsible for third-party pages. We do not warrant that a snapshot is private, anonymous, or a VPN. A snapshot can show whatever that front page is that second (including a 404). The house recommends not posting nudity. The poster is liable if a share is reported.

Hearth three-report brake: Three reports in that moment on the same staged share, from three separate users, are required. Reports from the same IP count as one vote unless the reporter is an enterprise entity. Intake is by email plus a hold folder; both are purged after review to limit retention. Moderators are alerted through the in-app / on-site support panel (no public mailbox). If a person is liable, a lawful LE/authority request receives that user’s report history only as held. That is a house brake, not a court. False reports are a rule break.

This is not Discord-scale Trust & Safety and not a certified filter. Overlay screen-read of your display (Dhraconyx) is a different door from hearth snapshot of a public URL.

A9. Data retention & audit (chat)

Conversation and continuity records may be retained for house operation, safety, and compliance. Seal & Clear and optional write-once exports may preserve sealed sessions. Hearth report holds (email + hold folder) keep a copy with user identifiers until review, then both are purged. See Privacy.

A10. Moderation & availability

Warnings, mutes, kicks, bans, and room locks may be applied. Appeals go through the support panel / FAQ contact. Staff decisions stand while under review. The house may be offline for maintenance, security rotation, or outages. No uptime guarantee.

A11. External sites

Links to ruezals.com, login.ruezals.com, Dhraconyx, and other domains may open in a new window. We are not responsible for third-party sites, games, or AI provider platforms. Hearth snapshots do not make those pages ours.

B. Dhraconyx — screen-translation overlay

Dhraconyx is the screen-translation overlay under the RUEZALS umbrella (dhraconyx.ruezals.com). Separate from chat/house and craft/Etsy. Product terms mirror install/accept forever id dhx-terms-v1. • Plans: Scout $6/mo · 1 seat · 3 language slots (+ one default). Ranger $12/mo · 2 seats · 6 slots. Dhragoon $18/mo · 3 seats · 10 slots.
• Meme Generator: +$3/mo on Scout/Ranger; included on Dhragoon.
• Account vs seat: Account = licensee; seat = one computer. Licensee may assign seats under their licence; farming trials and resale are not allowed.
• Trial: 72 hours from registration on that computer; trial seat is final (no rebuild forgiveness).
• Cancel: anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: 24 hours from the paid charge, then none. (72h trial and 24h refund are separate clocks.)
• Payments: Stripe in TEST / pre-commercial mode until live commercial billing. Cancel/checkout may show Testing mode while TEST — intentional. Failed payment locks the translator. Stripe TEST must stay explicit on accept while TEST.
• Needs: internet + RUEZALS servers. Overlay dormant until seat/key is live.
• Lawful use: mic and capture-box content only when you have a lawful right to process it.
• Freemode (if shipping): F10 Talk = speech-to-text for the window under the cursor (server faster-whisper).
• Privacy (short): After each job we do not keep conversation/translate text or OCR images; we still keep account, seat, IP/region, billing metadata, and acceptance. Memes may be stored/moderated. Chat retention is a different surface.
• Contact: in-app or site support panel only (no public email/phone).

Product terms carry no age-minimum sentence in customer copy. Chat (§ A) remains 18+.

C. Craft / Etsy — separate storefront

Craft and Etsy storefronts under ruezals.com are a separate storefront surface from house chat and from Dhraconyx. Product-specific craft/Etsy rules live with that storefront; this umbrella does not invent Etsy doctrine. Contact for craft remains via the in-app / on-site support panel only — no public email or phone on these house legal pages.
