Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do on RUEZALS.chat. If you open chat from Dhraconyx, this AUP still applies to what you post in the hall. Overlay-only commercial use follows umbrella Terms § B / product terms. Enforced with the Policy ladder (warn → mute → kick → ban). Version: aup-2026-09-21.

Allowed

• Respectful conversation, creative play, and house tools you are entitled to use.
• Noticing AI personas in a room as disclosed house staff tools (they do not converse with general members — see Terms § A5).
• Reporting real harm or rule breaks in good faith — including dining hearth shares.
• Sharing a weblink so the hearth can show a snapshot of that front page (not a live browse).

Not allowed

• Harassment, hate, threats, stalking, or doxxing.
• Illegal content, scams, malware, stolen credentials, or sexual content involving minors.
• Spam, flood, scraping, credential stuffing, or bypassing rate limits / security.
• Impersonating Rue, staff, or family personas to deceive others.
• Using the platform to attack other systems or people.
• Attempting to extract other users’ private Continuity or staff-only material.
• Using the overlay to dump into chat what you would not be allowed to type at the table.
• Treating the hearth as a live browser, or demanding the house visit a site as you.

Dining hearth & reports

The poster owns the link or picture. The house recommends not posting nudity. Three separate users must report (same IP counts as one vote unless enterprise entity). The share is pulled; intake is email + hold folder; the poster is notified; staff are alerted through the support panel (no public mailbox). Both email and hold folder are purged after review. False reports climb the same ladder as other abuse. Lawful LE/authority requests for a liable user receive that user’s report history only.

AI personas

Named family members (Ani, Aether, Chees, and others) are AI personas, not real people. They are disclosed in Terms § A5. They do not converse with general members — they respond only to house operators at Rue level and above. Presence in a room is visible, not a chat invitation.

Do not demand that personas deny they are AI, impersonate them, or use them as a substitute for emergency services. Crisis or self-harm topics: seek real-world help; staff may intervene.

Enforcement

Staff may mute, kick, ban, lock rooms, or revoke AskRue™ entitlements. Appeals: in-app / on-site support panel or FAQ & Contact (no public email/phone on this page). Related: Policy, Terms.

World & game etiquette

Each land and game can carry its own etiquette and lingo. House AUP still applies everywhere; local manners live in categories (pace, fair play, trade clarity, table rules, social aptitude). Canonical editable copy: public AUP world sections / assets/js/world-rules-data.js.

• Gardens — gentle presence; soft pace and garden lingo.
• Jousting — sporting contest; challenge the lance, not the person.
• Business — clear deals; no bait-and-switch.
• Games — host sets the board; slang stays at that table.
• Social aptitude — match the room; switch manners when you switch lands.
